Meet Michael

In 2014 Michael learned to meditate in Santa Monica where he successfully incorporated his twice daily practice into his 50+ hour workweek.
While immediately experiencing numerous benefits from the practice and with minimal effort, Michael began a 2yr prerequisite of Vedic Studies. In 2018, with the completion of his studies, he was accepted into Initiator Training program held in the foothills of the Himalayas and trained personally Thom Knoles.
Michael teaches Vedic Meditation because he believes for everyone to become the best version of themselves, establishing a daily practice to experience deep rest and eliminate stress is non-negotiable.
Michael continues to study under Maharishi Vyasananda Saraswati (Thom Knoles), the pre-eminent authority of Vedic knowledge. His studies culminated in a 12-week immersion program with Thom in India, where he was inducted into the Shankaracharya tradition by Shri Shri 1008 Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri, Supreme Authority of the Vedic Tradition.

“You deserve the best. Never feel unworthy or not justified in having the best. I tell you, this is your heritage; but, you have to accept it. You have to expect it; you have to claim it. To do so is not demanding too much."
–Swami Brahmananda Saraswati
Vedic Meditation

Vedic Meditation is an effortless mental technique derived from a 5,000 year-old body of wisdom known as the Veda, the source of yoga and Ayurvedic medicine.
Sitting comfortably in a chair, we close our eyes and use a mantra to trigger deep rest in the mind and body. This technique allows on to experience fully-awake restful consciousness.
Unlike many other forms of meditation that require focus, yogi-like flexibility and lots of time, Vedic Meditation is simple, natural and effective. This technique was designed for householders, meaning you and me.
The restfulness accompanying Vedic Meditation is considerably deeper than that gained by sleep which brings innumerable health benefits. Practicing this technique of meditation will improve ones intelligence, creativity and learning ability. Plus, there is no concentration with this technique.
If you can think a thought, then I can make you a successful meditator.
